A Shared Engine. Your Own Product.
Tailoring changes more than the interface. Each engagement may define a different business identity, operating responsibility and allocation of product rights.
Begin with the business
An enterprise may need a branded relationship operation, a different participant role, a distinct information flow or a new review arrangement. The 49GENVOY foundation can support that exploration without making the BitLease Partner Program its only possible product shape.
Protected foundation and commissioned output
BitLease Inc. develops and commercializes tailored products. A customer’s rights in the customized output are a separate contractual subject.
Four dimensions of a meaningful agreement
The discussion should identify output rights and permitted use; deployment and hosting; commercial structure and operation; and acceptance, support and future work. These are peer decisions. One universal SaaS or source-ownership model is not presumed for every customer.
What changes after the first release?
Maintenance of an agreed product and new customization are different commitments. When a proposed capability sits outside existing support, a separately documented change order or statement of work can define the new requirement, acceptance basis and commercial terms.
Questions for procurement and technology leaders
Who will be the operator? Which information belongs to the buyer? What is the acceptance test? What rights are needed to adapt the tailored output? Which parts remain protected and reusable? How is an authorized successor expected to support continuity if circumstances change?
